Change is scary and safe.
My approach is to first establish achievable goals. Then understand your strengths in order to help you reach your goals in a reasonable time frame.
I believe that once someone is ready for change, they simply need encouragement and guidance.
I incorporate creativity to help clients move beyond barriers in their journey towards change. I also use common therapeutic approaches (DBT, CBT, ACT) to teach skills you can use on your own.
You learn how to help yourself.
